-
Nonprofits serve a critical role in local communities, acting as resources and physical meeting spaces where community groups can congregate. However, many nonprofits operate on limited budgets and are forced to put off necessary building upgrades until heating systems fail. Federal funding is unstable and competitive, while state funding is mainly rebates instead of grants. AMPED wants the projects chosen for this funding opportunity to be high-impact for local communities that rely on these nonprofits.
-
Air source and geothermal heat pump upgrades, building envelope (insulation/air sealing), and solar panels.
-
Five to six projects
-
Applications accepted on a rolling basis, until January 31, 2026 or until funds are exhausted.
